About Us

Vawch was founded in 2008 by a group of former consultants/bankers and technology enthusiasts in an attempt to create a new complementary advertising channel for recruiters and agencies to ensure they assemble the best possible pool of candidates before a position is filled.

From our experience, referrals are the ‘shortest path’ to passive candidates. And being the shortest path, we mean the most cost effective channel. By integrating referrals with social networks, our Vawch platform is capable of helping firms conduct a unique search for candidates. Also unique to our model is our success based nature or what we coin as “success-based advertising”.

Our mission is to create a sufficiently large referrer network so we can consistently deliver a meaningful set of unique qualified candidates to our customers.

We have also developed the Vawch Candidate Ranking System™, a proprietary sorting algorithm, so our customers can save time and quickly zoom-in to the most relevant candidates.

For referrers, Vawch allows professionals to tap the value of their personal networks by vouching for suitable individuals to vacancies listed on our job board. The referrer is financially rewarded if their candidate takes up the job.
